The Renton boys basketball team swept past Tyee 62-36 Wednesday. The Indians (2-2 overall, 2-1 Seamount) outscored the Totems by at least four points in every quarter.

Jonathan Patterson led Renton with 23 points. Donovan Saario added 10 and Zack Lee scored nine.

Hazen

Hazen’s late run wasn’t quite enough as the Highlanders fell to Evergreen 64-53 Wednesday.

Hazen (3-3, 1-2) went down 22-13 after the first quarter, then trailed by 18 heading into the fourth. The Highlanders outscored the Wolverines 23-16 in the final frame, but it wasn’t enough.

Frankie Johnson scored 15 and Alex Olson scored 14 for Hazen.
