Renton’s Cindy Lim takes eighth at state | Golf

Renton's Cindy Lim led the way for local golfers, placing eighth at the 3A golf tournament May 25-26. Lim hit a 76 in the first round and 78 in the second round, good for a total score of 154. She finished nine strokes behind the leader. Lindbergh's Jennifer Steinhilber scored an 81 the first day and 87 in the second round, for a total score of 168. She finished in 23rd.

Renton’s Cindy Lim led the way for local golfers, placing eighth at the 3A golf tournament May 25-26.

Lim hit a 76 in the first round and 78 in the second round, good for a total score of 154. She finished nine strokes behind the leader.

Lindbergh’s Jennifer Steinhilber scored an 81 the first day and 87 in the second round, for a total score of 168. She finished in 23rd.

The girls tournament was at Horn Rapids Golf Club in Richland.

Lindbergh’s Justin Ricardo shot a 106 the first day, putting him in 80th place.

Hazen’s Tanner Bartlein shot an 84, good for a tie for 55th.

The boys tournament is being played at Meadow Springs Country Club in Richland.
