Renton resident Jojo Matautia singed a National Letter of Intent on April 8 at Eastside Catholic High School.

Matautia played center for the Crusaders and signed his LOI as he plans to head to Moscow, Idaho, to play for the Vandals and the University of Idaho.

He was one of 12 athletes who signed to play college athletics at Eastside Catholic.

“We are incredibly proud of these student-athletes for their hard work, perseverance and achievements both on and off the field. Signing a National Letter of Intent is a tremendous accomplishment and a reflection of their commitment to excellence. We can’t wait to see what they do next at the collegiate level,” Eastside Catholic Athletic Director Stacey Stoutt said in a press release.
