Lindbergh High School’s Elle Watts, basketball, was selected as the Renton Reporter’s Female Athlete of the Week for Dec. 14.
Q: What is your favorite subject in school?
A: Language Arts
Q: What other activities do you participate in?
A: I enjoy being around my friends and family.
Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?
A: My family and coaches. They always encourage and support me.
Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?
A: I spend the day listening to music and creating visions in my head of what I want to do in the game and how I want to succeed.
Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?
A: My team and I have a few but they are top secret.

She is averaging a double-double through the first three games, averaging 19.7 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals and 2 blocks per game.
