Hazen High School’s Jaxon Ingram, football, was selected as the Renton Reporter’s Male Athlete of the Week for Nov. 23.

Q: What is your favorite subject in school?

A: Welding

Q: What other activities do you participate in?

A: I like to hang out with my friends and watch college football.

Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?

A: My parents have been a huge part of my success.

Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?

A: I listen to music and focus on the game and after me and the team go to Denny’s.

“During the final game of the regular season, Jaxon was 24 for 31 passing for 385 yards and four touchdown passes. He also had 14 carries for 62 yards and two rushing touchdowns in the big 41-31 victory over Enumclaw to earn the No. 2 playoff seed in the North Puget Sound League.”
