Renton High School’s Kerry Diaz-Neri, bowling, was selected as the Renton Reporter’s Female Athlete of the Week for Feb. 8.
Q: What is your favorite subject in school?
A: AP Calculus
Q: What other activities do you participate in?
A: Playing guitar and the piano
Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?
A: My mom because she’s made so many sacrifices to get me to where I am today.
Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?
A: As a team we do cheers before, during and after the game.

“Kerry Diaz-Neri has been on the bowling team for two years now. She is the first Renton School District student to make the state tournament. She is a full IB student and holds a 3.54 cumulative GPA. She plans on attending college on the East Coast. Great job Kerry!”
