Meanwhile Mike Sando notes how the Pittsburgh Steelers’ trade of wide receiver Santonio Holmes to the New York Jets may help the Seahawks acquire Marshall.

That trade would seem to knock the Jets out of the running for Marshall, leaving few teams interested in the Broncos’ receiver.

The executives Legwold polled thought Marshall would end up in Seattle or with the Washington Redskins.

The Redskins’ new coach Mike Shanahan is the former long-time Denver head coach.
