Lindbergh senior Sarah Reiter signed a National Letter of Intent to compete for the Montana State track and field team Wednesday.
Reiter won the 2A state cross-country championship as a junior. She also finished in the top 15 her sophomore and senior seasons. As a junior, Reiter placed third at the 2A state track and field meet in the 800-meter dash, and sixth in the 1,600.
Academically, she was twice-named to the Seamont League Academic team as well as garnering the Washington Interscholastic Activities Association (WIAA) Distinguished Scholastic Award on three separate occasions. She is also a member of the National Honor Society.
“Reiter’s resume goes beyond athletics,” said head coach Dale Kennedy. “She is a tremendously strong student but also can compete in the middle distance events and could an immediate impact.”
