The Liberty boys soccer team tied Sammamish 1-1 in an overtime game Friday.

Dean Byron scored an unassisted goal for the Patriots (6-2-1 overall, 2-2-1 league) at 64:00.

Sammamish’s Joshuah Gray tied the game with a goal at 84:00 on an assist by Taylor Backous.

Alex Woehlbrandt was in goal for the Patriots for the entire game.

The Patriots are now in third in the KingCo 3A/2A, behind Mercer Island and Mount Si.
