Swimming: Seamount League Meet and KingCo Meet coverage

Hazen’s Nathan Tat was Renton’s only individual winner at the Seamount League meet last weekend at the Hazen pool. Tat led the Highlanders third at the contest, Lindbergh followed in fourth and Renton High in sixth.

The Highlanders scored 202 points, behind Kennedy (268.5) in second place. Mount Rainier scored 439.5 and ran away with first place. Lindbergh scored 144.5 points and Renton scored 71.

Top three finishers from Renton schools:

Hazen finished second in the 200 medley relay (Tat, Eric Carlson, Alex Klemetsen and Tommy Truong). Tat placed second in the 200 individual medley and won the 100 breast.

Carlson finished second in the 100 breast.

Hazen also finished second in the 200 freestyle relay (Emoniel Isakharov, Corbin Kozai, Truong and Tat).

Lindbergh’s Manual Roman tied Mount Rainier’s Curtis Strand for second in the 50 freestyle. He also finished third in the 100 butterfly.

Lindbergh placed third in the 400 freestyle relay (Adrain Franco, John Cramer, Ethan Spencer and Roman).


Liberty finished 13th at the KingCo championships at Mary Wayte Pool in Mercer Island last weekend.

The Patriots scored 143 points. Mercer Island dominated the meet and scored 878.5 points, nearly twice as many as second-place Inglemoor (444.5).

Liberty’s Logan Briggs placed second in the 200 freestyle.
