Renton, Hazen and Lindbergh all competed at Renton stadium Thursday afternoon.
Boys
Hazen’s Duncan Mackay and Renton’s Tevin Ponders took the top two spots in the 100, but Lindbergh had the next three placers (Adam Freed, Derek Roseboro and Devan Bickham). The Eagles also had Roseboro win the 200. Emoniel Isakharov was runner-up in the 200.
Renton’s Gary Hay won the 400, followed by three Lindbergh runners (Nate Tandecki,Bickham and Eugene Pioquinto).
Lindbergh’s James Cornell won the 800, followed by three Hazen runners (Clay Strom, Christopher Melrose, Nik Bruyev and Thanh Nguyen).
The duo of Matt Miland and CJ Timm took the top two spots in the 1600 for Lindbergh.
Miland also won the 3200, followed by Renton’s Albert Du and Hazen’s Kyle Gibbs.
Hazen’s Adriel Johnson won both hurdles races. Highlander Elias Lunsford placed second in the 300 hurdles.
Renton won the 4X100 relay (Ponders, Robert Reeves III, Mar’Que Fluker and Marcus Clinton).
Hazen’s Andrey Levkiv won the shot put and discus. Armin Basic finished second in both. Zack Nielsen was fourth in shot put and third in discus.
Renton’s Alex Nguyen won the javelin. Four Hazen throwers were next (Tyler Blakely, Cody Cottrill, Chris Grefthen and Connor Meikle).
Roseboro also won the high jump, followed by Renton’s Michael Moore.
Hazen’s Matt Taylor, Sean Smallwood and Kameron Shey took the top three spots in the pole vault.
Renton’s Ronnielle Kelly-Battles won both the long jump and triple jump. Lindbergh’s Frank Cange, Willie Creear and David Bowman followed Kelly-Battles in the long jump.
Girls
Hazen’s Airashay Rogers won the 100. Renton’s Aleigha Vasser was runner-up.
Lindbergh’s Ericka Galindo and Makala Williams finished first and second in the 200. Galindo also won the 400.
Shelby Reiter, of Lindbergh, won the 800 and the 1600. Renton’s Misa Yoshioka and Lindbergh’s Anna Patti followed in the 1600. Patti won the 3200.
Renton won both the 4X100 (Victoria Fernandez, Tiana Gibson, Amadi Bentley and Taylor Williams) and 4X200 (Gibson, Fernandez, Alissa Reynolds and Williams).
Renton’s star throwers, Royalanda Jackson and Boryana Atanasova took the top two spots in shot put and discus. Jackson won shot put, Atanasova won discus.
Hazen’s Leslie Mikolaizik won javelin.
Hazen’s Brittany Phillio won the high jump. Teammates Kaysie Rozsonits and Robin placed second and third.
Lindbergh’s Louise Baker won the pole vault. Mikolaizik was second.
Lindbergh’s Williams won both the long jump and the triple jump.
