Hazen didn’t leave much doubt in a 46-12 win against Evergreen Sept. 4.

The Highlanders went up 33-0 by the half and didn’t allow any points until Evergreen scored 12 in the fourth quarter.

Senior quarterback Travis Johnson connected with Cody Taylor from 20 yards out in the second quarter and also rushed in for a 34-yard score. Sam Bunnell scored on rushes from one and 11 yards. Demontray Brown rushed for a 30-yad score. Isaiah Talley and Eric Jacobs added rushing scores for the Highlanders.

Hazen’s biggest lead was 39-0 in the third quarter. Bunnell hit three of five extra point attempts (one was blocked).
