Hazen golfers Isabell Deak and Nick Yee this past weekend qualified to play in next weekend’s state golf tournament.

Deak, a sophomore in her first year in the league, shot an 84 (par 71) to finish first in a field of 24.

Yee, a senior headed to states for the second year in a row, shot a 78 (par 72) and placed third in a field of 27.

Zack Dea, a sophomore also competed, but finished 17th and did not qualify for the state meet.

The state meets are scheduled for May 24 and 25 in Spokane.
