Renton 3, Lindbergh 1

Renton came out on top of Lindbergh three games to one in a non-league match Tuesday.

It was the first match of the season for both teams and will not count towards league records.

The Indians the first (25-12), third (26-24) and fourth (25-15) sets. The Eagles won the second (25-21).

Sarah Nelson piled up 35 kills for Renton.

Kristina Batschi and Shayna Magat each collected 16 assists for Lindbergh.

Liberty 3, Lake Washington 0

Liberty opened the season with a 3-0 win against Lake Washington Tuesday.

It was the first match of the season for the Patriots (25-20, 25-23, 25-23).

Trisha Terry recorded 11 digs. Chelan Simonds and Megan Tsutakawa each had three aces.
