The Lindbergh cross-country team continues its dominant season with a sweep at the Seamount League meet Saturday at Evergreen High School.
Boys
The Eagles’ Trevor Thompson won the boys varsity race by almost a minute and finished in 16 minutes, 12.80 seconds.
Lindbergh scored just 28 points (15 points is a perfect total) to run away with the meet.
After Thompson, Mark Garcia finished fifth, Nate Tandecki finished sixth and Luke Garcia placed eighth.
Nate Reitz finished ninth, while James Cornell and Thanh Nguyen rounded out the team effort in 17th and 18th.
Hazen sophomore Conner Hall finished second overall, at 17:04.78. That was his best 5,000-meter time of the season by 30 seconds.
Hall led the Highlanders to a second-place finish, with 78 points.
Chris Melrose placed eighth, Nick Teal 16th, Kyle Gibbs 22nd Clay Strom 24th, Daniel Karpman 25th and Peter VanNuland 35th.
Saugat Chhetri led Renton with a 19th-place finish. The Indians finished sixth, with 111 points.
Brian Reilly (20th), Aslan DaVault (21st), Adriel Paine (23rd), Albert Du (28th), Nick Markham (29th) and Jimmy Louangsyyotha (30th) completed the Renton effort.
Girls
Lindbergh’s Sarah Reiter finished second overall and ran a time of 20:11.51.
Reiter led the Eagles girls team to a win, with 27 points.
Anna Patti placed fourth, Erika Galindo sixth, Ariel Hodges seventh, Elizabeth Hansen 13th, Brenna Fisher 22nd and Monique Smith 37th.
Hazen’s Michelle Wnek led her team with a fifth-place finish and a time of 22:00.90. The Highlanders finished second with 67 points.
Lindsey Standbergh (eighth), Christi Argyle (16th), May Lim (20th), Keturah Slaught (23rd), Audrey Miller (24th) and Myesha Durden (26th) rounded out the team.
Mary grace Asirot led Renton and finished in 12th. Asirot finished with a time of 22:47.88. Renton finished third with 90 points.
Tricia Bui placed 14th, Amy Tat 18th, Dalena Pham 19th, Cynthia Fang 32nd and Elizabether Lee 36th.
Junior varsity
Lindbergh won the JV race by totaling 20 points. The Eagles took the three overall spots with Nathan Haley, Brett Love and C.J. Timm.
Hazen finished second with 40 points. Chase Onstot placed fourth to lead the team.
Lindbergh and Hazen had 15 of the top 18 runners (eight from Lindbergh, seven from Hazen).
Renton finished fourth with 103 points. Jacky Tran led the group.
